We're Live (Kind Of) | DealsHub Beta Launch

So... we did a thing.

If you're reading this, congratulations, you're looking at a website that wasn't supposed to exist for another 2 weeks.

DealsHub was scheduled to launch on April 1st, 2026. We had a plan. A timeline. A proper QA phase. All very responsible and adult.

Then we got bored.

There's only so many times you can hit refresh on localhost:4321 before you start losing your mind. Every feature we tested locally worked. Every page loaded. The lighthouse scores looked decent. And we were just... sitting there. Staring at a finished thing that nobody could see.

So we pushed it.

Reid Hoffman (guy who co-founded LinkedIn) once said something that's been rattling around in our heads for months:

"If you are not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you've launched too late."

Well, Reid. Consider us sufficiently embarrassed. And live.

What is DealsHub, exactly?

The short version: we help you find the cheapest price for games, keys, items, and accounts across every major store and marketplace.

The longer version: we're a team of gamers who've been buying, selling, and trading in the digital gaming economy since 2011. We've been scammed. We've learned the hard way which sellers are legit and which ones will ghost you after payment. We've tracked prices across dozens of platforms, manually, for years, and finally decided to build the tool we always wished existed.

DealsHub checks every major retailer and marketplace, shows you the lowest price first, and only lists verified sellers. Real-time. No fake deals. No sponsored listings disguised as recommendations.

What "Beta" actually means here

Let's be honest about where we are. This is a soft launch. A real, public, honest-to-god beta. That means:

1. Things will break. We're QA-ing in production now. Yes, really. If you find a bug, you're not imagining it — please report it.
2. The catalog is growing. We're adding products, stores, and categories every day. If your favorite game isn't listed yet, it will be.
3. Design will evolve. Some pages are polished. Others look like they were styled at 3 AM. Because they were.
4. Partners are coming. Once our retail partners are fully onboarded and integrated, that's when we call it a full launch. Right now, you're seeing the foundation.

We could've waited. Polished every pixel. Written a thousand more unit tests. But that's not how we operate. We ship fast, we listen, and we iterate. That's the whole point of building in the open.

Why now? Why like this?

Because perfection is a trap, especially when you're bootstrapped.

We have zero venture capital. Zero investor pressure. Every line of code, every design decision, every late night debugging session, that's just us. A small team of people who genuinely care about building something useful for the gaming community.

Waiting for "ready" means waiting forever. We'd rather give you something real today and make it better tomorrow based on what you actually need.

What's next

The roadmap is public, always has been. But here's a taste of what's coming in the weeks ahead:

1. Full partner integrations (this is the big one that turns soft launch into real launch)
2. Price history charts and drop alerts
3. Expanded categories: in-game items, currencies, accounts, services
4. Community features and user accounts
5. More regions, more currencies, more languages
