WARCANA

WARCANA is a fantasy-inspired real-time base defense strategy game from 1000 Orks. Players assume the role of a magician defending against enemy waves while summoning their own armies. The core gameplay loop involves building a deck of cards, which represent units, buildings, and spells, each with its own tech tree. Unlocking new cards is tied to summoned economy buildings, requiring strategic card play and tech tree progression to access powerful abilities and units.The game includes a 30+ scenario single-player campaign and an in-game editor for custom content. A 30-player Battle Royale mode pits players against each other, with each player facing two direct opponents simultaneously. Additional modes include Horde Mode, focused on achieving high kill scores, and Stream Sniper Mode, designed for community interaction with streamers. WARCANA offers multiple "devotions" (factions) such as "Fay Caller" and "Occultism," each providing unique perks, mechanics, and thematic elements, with players able to combine primary and secondary devotions for multicoloured decks.
