Oh My Godheads is a debut multiplayer fracas, presenting a fast and frenetic Capture-the-Head experience for up to four players. Players select from a variety of characters before engaging in combat, swinging pointy swords and slinging explosive pies. The core objective involves grabbing a Godhead and transporting it to a team's base, a task complicated by the Godhead itself, which unleashes its wrath on the bearer and those nearby.
Ten distinct Godheads drive the game's mechanics, each possessing a unique, game-changing ability capable of eliminating its bearer through explosions, mind control, or freezing. Up to four players engage in local offline multiplayer across ten varied locations, from Japanese waterfalls to Aztec pyramids, each presenting specific environmental obstacles. Nine low-poly characters are available, complementing multiple game modes: Capture the Head requires securing a Godhead for a team goal, King of the Head rewards the player who holds a Godhead longest, Headhunters grants victory to the player with the most kills, and Last Man Standing determines a single survivor. Solo challenges are also available through Trials of the Gods, and AI companions or opponents can fill any player slots. This is a dedicated arena brawler focused on chaotic, objective-based multiplayer.
