Players can engage in dogfights, air-strikes, and supply route defense, utilizing tactics like hit-and-run. The game includes a variety of historical missions, such as the Japanese Christmas raids on Rangoon and transport missions over the Himalayas.Mechanics include TrazerTime™ slow-motion firing, arcade and sim-style controls, and dynamic weather effects like monsoons and sunsets.
