Yooka-Laylee is an open-world platformer from Playtonic Games. Players control Yooka and Laylee, a duo who collect items to stop Capital B from absorbing all the world's books. They use special moves to solve puzzles and platforming challenges, finding Pagies to unlock and expand worlds. These worlds contain characters, bosses, minecart challenges, arcade games, quiz shows, and multiplayer games.The game's soundtrack features composers David Wise and Grant Kirkhope. Players can purchase and unlock new moves, expand worlds, and equip Tonic gameplay modifiers to customize their play style. Yooka-Laylee also includes a co-op mode where a second player can assist the main characters.
