X3: Terran Conflict is an action, simulation, and strategy game that continues the X-Trilogy series. The game is set in the year 2938, depicting the first contact between the X Universe and Earth. This event introduces a new faction, the Terrans, and sparks new conflicts alongside existing trade.The title expands the X Universe with over 100 new spacecraft, ship classes, and weapon systems. Players can engage in extensive non-linear missions and jobs, and new mechanics include the ability to board large battleships with an external team. The user interface was redesigned for improved control across mouse, keyboard, and joystick.
