X-Blades is an action-adventure RPG developed by Gaijin Entertainment. Players control Ayumi, a treasure hunter who battles hordes of enemies using gunblades and magic. The game presents a fantasy story across 40 anime-style landscapes, incorporating cinematic visual effects like bullet time and motion blur.The title features over 25 types of magic, RPG elements for skill and weapon upgrades, and four difficulty modes that influence alternative endings. Players face more than 30 enemy types and challenging boss battles, with the ability to combine gunblades for ranged and close-quarters combat. A demonic special mode offers further gameplay variations.
