Wartales is an open-world RPG strategy game from Shiro Games, placing players in control of a band of mercenaries in a medieval world devastated by plague. A century after the fall of the Edoran Empire, the land is rife with conflict and lawlessness, and the player's group must survive and profit through any means necessary, eschewing traditional heroism for pragmatism.

Players recruit companions with specialized skills and customize their progression, equipment, and appearance. The game features tactical turn-based combat, a deep crafting and camp development system, and exploration of a vast world containing villages, mines, tombs, and camps. Wartales supports co-op multiplayer for up to four players.
