Vessels of Decay is a retro-inspired action-adventure RPG. Players control siblings Freja and Mud navigating a post-apocalyptic Scandinavia. The game involves confronting creatures from Scandinavian myth and folklore within the ruins of civilization.Combat is dynamic, with unique finisher animations triggered by staggering enemies. Boss encounters are multi-stage challenges requiring player wit and reflexes. The world is handcrafted, blending a decaying modern society with overgrown nature and supernatural elements, reflecting a melancholic, action-oriented tone.
