THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV is the latest entry in SNK's long-running fighting game franchise, which began in 1994. The game features 39 playable characters at its launch, including returning favorites and new challengers. Its story mode continues the KOF saga, leading to an explosive climax. The core gameplay retains the series' traditional 3-on-3 team battles and introduces the new "SHATTER STRIKE" mechanic, designed to enhance speed and excitement.The game includes a Gallery for viewing movies and voice samples, and a DJ STATION with over 300 songs from the KOF series and beyond. For online play, THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV implements rollback netcode to ensure a smoother connection.
