SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream arrives as the second installment celebrating the 10th anniversary of the SWORD ART ONLINE franchise. This multiplayer action game allows players to assume the role of one of 21 characters from the SAO series, engaging in battles either solo or alongside up to 20 other players. Players confront an anomaly in the virtual world, caused by the new Galaxia system, which displaces characters across time and space.

An original story unfolds in the single-player mode, where characters with unique destinies gather to address the timeline disruption. Beyond this narrative, online-exclusive modes expand the experience: Boss Raid pits up to 20 players across five parties against gigantic returning bosses, while Co-Op Quest sees five separated parties gradually uniting to challenge a final boss on a shared map. Free Roam mode offers exploration of a vast map filled with bosses and treasure chests for up to 20 players, and all online modes support solo play via matchmaking, with NPCs filling participant slots as needed. This title provides expansive cooperative play within the SWORD ART ONLINE universe.
