Suikoden STAR LEAP

Suikoden STAR LEAP is an entirely new addition to KONAMI's established RPG series, set within the same world and history as its predecessors. Players embark on a new narrative centered around the 108 Stars, beginning in a lakeside village east of the Scarlet Moon Empire. Recruit a diverse cast of characters, including companions Hisui, Shirin, and Shapur, as the hero confronts mysterious threats and works to restore their home. Engage in turn-based command battles, where strategic character deployment and tactical choices are key to overcoming formidable foes.

The game presents its world and characters with profound dot-picture graphics, complemented by beautiful visuals and powerful sound. Central to the experience is the collection of 108 distinct "stars," each contributing to expanding battle strategies and available experiences. The narrative explores a new tale of Runes, focusing on the Rune of Change, one of the 27 True Runes said to have shaped the world. Recruit and manage a large roster of allies, and expand and reconstruct bases and facilities throughout the adventure. This entry deepens the lore of the Suikoden universe with a fresh perspective on its foundational magic systems and character-driven progression.
