Sonic Origins

The expanded collection Sonic Origins Plus compiles a selection of classic Sega platformers, developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. Players guide Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Knuckles, or Amy Rose through a series of zones, utilizing high-speed movement and the signature spin dash attack. The core offering includes remastered versions of *Sonic the Hedgehog*, *Sonic 2*, *Sonic 3 & Knuckles*, and *Sonic CD*, each presented with new opening and ending animations. Players navigate these titles in either Classic mode, retaining original resolution and limited lives, or Anniversary mode, which offers a revamped widescreen HD experience with unlimited lives.

Beyond the four remastered mainline games, Sonic Origins Plus provides access to 12 classic Sonic Game Gear titles, expanding the collection with games such as *Sonic Drift 2*, *Sonic Spinball*, and *Tails Adventure*. New playable characters include Amy Rose, available for the first time across *Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles*, and *Sonic CD*, alongside Knuckles' availability in *Sonic CD*. Completing missions unlocks content such as Mirror Mode, additional stages, challenges, behind-the-scenes material, and a music player. This collection serves as a comprehensive assembly of early Sonic experiences.
