The game redefines the racing simulator genre by integrating the atmosphere of race day, featuring the FIA GT1 World Championship and GT3 European Championship, alongside real-world drivers, tracks, and cars. Autolog serves as a core system, connecting friends and allowing the sharing of driver profiles, career status, photos, and videos, while also sending challenges and providing news feeds. Autolog recommendations dynamically generate challenges based on friend activity, enhancing social competition both online and offline. Players progress through a deep career mode, earning unlocks and participating in multiple racing disciplines, including Endurance races, to become the FIA GT1 World Champion. Customization options extend to engines, bodywork, and suspension, allowing players to tailor over 120 licensed cars, such as the Nissan GT-R GT1 and McLaren MP4-12C, for performance or aesthetics. Over 35 real-world locations, including Bathurst and Spa de Francochamps, complement fictional circuits in this authentic racing experience.
