R-COIL

R-COIL is an action indie game from Vector Hat. A malfunctioning R-COIL engine sends the player through a tear in reality, where they face hostile creatures. The game uses a unique single-button control scheme: tapping fires a weapon, while holding the button engages the thruster. Firing also provides a slight backward thrust, requiring players to balance offense and movement to maintain control.

The game includes single-player, local co-op, and local duel modes. For a less demanding experience, "Stress Free Mode" removes lives and pressure. R-COIL presents numerous enemy types, from shielded saucers to kamikaze buzz-saws, and a wide array of power-ups.
