Project Wingman is a combat flight action game from Sector D2 that places players in the cockpit of an ace pilot during an alternate history war. Players engage in fast-paced aerial combat across diverse, scorched-earth environments, from the Bering Strait to Yellowstone's magma fields. The game provides over 20 distinct aircraft and more than 40 unique weapons, including advanced armaments like railguns, allowing for varied combat approaches whether piloting attack or interceptor craft.Beyond its single-player campaign, Project Wingman features a territory-capture Conquest mode with roguelike and RPG elements. This mode challenges players to build a mercenary army and survive increasingly difficult waves of opposition, earning currency to purchase new aircraft. The game also supports Virtual Reality (VR) and HOTAS peripherals for a more immersive flight simulation.
