Players must master a sequence of four drum commands—Pata, Pon, Don, and Chaka—to direct their forces in strategic combat. The game emphasizes both simple, rhythm-based controls and deep strategic customization, allowing players to assemble armies comprised of distinct Patapon classes like Hatapon, Tatepon, and Yumipon, each with specific combat roles.The collection offers over 400 weapons and equipment to customize and enhance Patapon units, encouraging players to tailor their forces for diverse challenges.
