Nocturnal is an action-adventure game from Sunnyside Games. Players control Ardeshir, a soldier of the Enduring Flame, who returns to his mist-plagued homeland of Nahran. Ardeshir must combat a mysterious Mist using a flaming sword and unique abilities. The Mist dynamically reacts to the player's flames, creating a reactive combat environment. The sword can ignite the surroundings, activate mechanisms, and destroy Mist creatures.Collecting ash from defeated enemies and exploration allows players to offer it to Phoenix statues for new skills and bonuses.
