NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS is the latest entry in the Ultimate Ninja STORM series, an action-fighting game focused on fast-paced ninja battles. Players engage in combat, selecting from over 130 playable characters, which constitutes the largest roster in the series' history. Players perform various ninjutsu combos; a new Simple mode option facilitates easier execution for all skill levels. An improved network battle experience supports competitive play.

Two distinct story modes are included. One mode re-edits and combines the history of Naruto and Sasuke’s rivalry, integrating original anime scenes with the series’ signature battle experience, chronicling events from Naruto’s beginning up to the final battle. The second mode introduces a new, original story where Boruto Uzumaki, the son of the 7th Hokage, becomes embroiled in a global ninja conflict after meeting a girl in an online game.
