Moorhuhn / Crazy Chicken Tales is a casual adventure game. Players control one of four characters, navigating diverse environments like woods, mountains, ice plains, and dungeons. Gameplay involves jumping, running, and riding on animal companions. The game includes a Singleplayer Campaign Mode and a Multiplayer Racing Mode.

Over a dozen opponents populate the game world, requiring players to overcome or evade them. Two combat weapons are available. The narrative centers on a quest for treasure and themes of courage and friendship, set against the backdrop of searching for the Forsaken Castle.
