Montabi is a creature-collector roguelike deckbuilder where players assemble and evolve a team of up to 40 unique Montabi to battle through randomized events and diverse trainers. Combat unfolds on a tactical 3x3 grid, demanding strategic positioning and synergistic team composition. Players collect gadgets and charms to enhance their Montabi, whose abilities evolve as they level up, unlocking new card options and tactical possibilities. The ultimate goal is to defeat the local X Gang and save the city.The game emphasizes strategic team building, with each Montabi possessing distinct skills that allow for numerous combinations and synergies. Players must also manage randomized events within the city, adding replayability. The game features diverse trainers, each offering a unique playstyle, and the player's trainer acts as a key unit, similar to a king in chess, whose defeat results in game over.
