MONSTER HUNTER RISE

MONSTER HUNTER RISE, the latest mainline entry in Capcom's action-RPG series, tasks hunters with exploring new maps to confront fearsome monsters. Wielding one of 14 distinct weapon types, each offering unique combat styles for close-quarters or ranged engagements, hunters utilize the Wirebug for rapid traversal across environments. The Wirebug's special silk allows players to zip up walls and execute unique attacks tailored to their chosen weapon.

Hunters pursue a diverse array of monsters, each with distinct behaviors and unique ecologies, spanning creatures inspired by Japanese folklore and returning classics. Successful hunts yield materials for crafting new weapons and armor, or upgrading existing gear. The Hunter Hub facilitates multiplayer quests for up to four players, with difficulty scaling adjusting encounters for solo players or full squads. Companions include the familiar Palico Felynes and new Palamute Canynes. Hunters can control raging monsters through Wyvern Riding to inflict significant damage on targets. An all-new quest type, The Rampage, challenges players to defend Kamura Village from monster hordes. The PC version provides visual and performance enhancements, including 4K resolution, HDR, ultrawide monitor support, and an unlocked frame rate. This installment emphasizes dynamic monster encounters and expanded traversal options.
