Mira and the Legend of the Djinns is a 2D Metroidvania developed by littleknightgames and published by Assemble Entertainment. The game draws inspiration from Moroccan culture and spiritual traditions, presenting a world rendered in a distinct pixel art style. Players control Yuba, an explorer who bonds with Mira, a Djinn who has lost her memories, to uncover the history of their ruined world.
Players wield four elemental weapons—Solar, Celestial, Infernal, and Lunar—which can be upgraded and switched mid-combat for fluid, experimental fighting. A deep skill tree offers dozens of unlockable moves and combos. Seven unique tools are acquired to aid in exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat across diverse environments like deserts, necropoli, floating islands, and mountains.
