Players guide Fia through randomly generated dungeons, engaging in real-time, turn-based combat to level up her abilities. Equipment can be synthesized using items acquired during dungeon delves.

The Grimoire system tracks Fia's Magic Artes, which are unlocked by earning Learning Points through assignments and quests. These points can be used to progress through the Grimoire's nodes, granting Fia new magical skills. The game blends dungeon crawling with school life simulation, including social interactions and crafting elements, all within the setting of the Ancient Magic Academy.
