Macabre

Macabre is a 1-4 player co-op horror game where survival hinges on stealth and resource management. An adaptive monster learns player tactics, while dynamic Rifts present shifting maps and objectives. Players scavenge for resources, facing the choice to cooperate or betray teammates for loot. An NPC guide, Banjo, provides equipment and upgrades.Weforge Studio developed Macabre, a title that draws inspiration from games like Alien: Isolation for its adaptive AI, Hunt: Showdown and Escape from Tarkov for its risk-reward extraction loop, and DayZ, Phasmophobia, and Dread Hunger for its social dynamics. The game emphasizes in-game VOIP to foster unpredictable alliances and betrayals. Macabre is currently in Early Access, with plans for continued development based on player feedback.
