Kingdom Wars 2: Definitive Edition is a strategy game from Reverie World Studios that rebuilds the original title with a new engine, improved graphics, and a redesigned interface. The game centers on a dark fantasy conflict between Humans, Elves, and Orcs, who can recruit units from other races like Goblins, Ogres, Minotaurs, Treants, Dwarves, Skeletal Warriors, and Dragons. A single-player campaign presents a dark fantasy narrative, and players can utilize hero units and three Orders of Wizards with powerful magic. A robust crafting system allows for the creation of siege weapons, units, buildings, game cards, and industrial technologies. Each race has a unique Tech Tree for city management and unlocks, and a card system enables players to summon resources, reinforcements, and cast spells. The game supports up to four-player skirmishes against human or AI opponents, focusing on economic building, city fortification, and large-scale siege battles. A zombie survival mode pits players against an undead horde, and the game includes social features such as in-game chat, guilds, alliances, and co-op mode.
