Hoards of Glory

Hoards of Glory is a dice placement game for one to four players. Players assume the roles of Viking captains aiming to fulfill specific objectives on their Boast Cards. Each turn represents a year, during which players must make strategic decisions about acquiring wealth, attacking opponents, or defending themselves. Success hinges on matching dice rolls to slots on their Boast Card, with players starting with five coins and four colored dice.The game is designed for accessibility, playable by individuals as young as eight years old, with matches lasting approximately 15 to 20 minutes. While simple to learn, winning requires careful management of dice rolls and resource acquisition, particularly when facing unfavorable dice outcomes. Players can use dice results to complete tasks on their Boast Card, attack rivals, defend against aggression, or earn coins to purchase additional dice.
