Dorfromantik is a peaceful building strategy and puzzle game developed and published by Toukana Interactive. Players create idyllic, ever-growing village landscapes by strategically placing hexagonal tiles. The game involves drawing tiles from a stack and fitting them together to form contiguous areas of forests, villages, and water.

Quests are integrated into certain tiles, tasking players with specific arrangements, such as bordering a windmill with grain fields or connecting train tracks. Completing these quests grants additional tiles, allowing for further landscape expansion. As players progress, they can unlock new, colorful biomes and discover pre-placed objects that offer long-term goals, leading to the unlocking of new tiles, biomes, and quests.
