DOOM 3

DOOM 3, developed by id Software, is an award-winning horror/action first-person shooter that reimagines the original DOOM. As one of few survivors, you fight through a massive demonic invasion that has overwhelmed the Union Aerospace Corporation's Mars research facility. Combat involves confronting hordes of demons, navigating the facility, and ultimately battling to hell and back.

Originally released in 2004, DOOM 3 received a critically acclaimed remaster in 2012 with the BFG Edition. This updated version incorporates improved rendering and lighting, a checkpoint save system, and an armor-mounted flashlight allowing simultaneous vision and weapon use. The *Resurrection of Evil* expansion introduces six new demon types, a double-barreled shotgun, and demonic powers for controlling time or manipulating environmental gravity. The BFG Edition further includes *The Lost Mission* expansion, alongside embedded versions of DOOM (1993) and DOOM II, solidifying its identity as a darker, atmospheric entry in the iconic FPS series.
