Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, the direct sequel from developer CyberConnect2, grounds its action as a 3D arena fighter. In Story Mode, players relive the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. Battle Upper Rank demons alongside allied characters in these narrative segments.

VS Mode expands the combat roster to over 40 characters, including the nine Hashira, the Demon Slayer Corps' highest-ranking swordsmen. New elements like Dual Ultimates and Gear integrate into both online and offline challenges. This title aims to directly translate specific anime arcs into a playable combat experience.
