Deadzone: Rogue is a roguelite FPS where players battle biomechanical creatures aboard a spaceship. The game supports up to 3-player co-op, allowing squads to coordinate attacks, mark targets, and synchronize abilities against waves of enemies and massive bosses. Players can adjust mission difficulty to suit their preference.

The game features over 30 modifiable weapons, enhanced with elemental affixes like fire, ice, shock, and void, allowing for diverse combat strategies. Dozens of augments, perks, and items further customize player builds, enabling approaches from stealth to close-quarters combat. Permanent upgrades provide persistent progression, allowing players to enhance shields, elemental damage, and other combat capabilities.
