Days Gone

Days Gone is a debut open-world action-adventure game, set two years after a devastating global pandemic. Players assume the role of Deacon St. John, a former outlaw biker and bounty hunter, navigating a harsh wilderness. The core gameplay loop involves riding a Drifter bike across broken roads, scavenging abandoned settlements for equipment, and crafting valuable items and weapons. Survival demands engagement with other survivors, through fair trade or more violent means, while fighting against the environment and its inhabitants.

The Pacific Northwest serves as a striking and lethal backdrop, encompassing diverse environments from forests and meadows to snowy plains and desert lava fields, scarred by volcanic activity. Brutal encounters necessitate strategic use of customizable traps, a variety of weapons, and upgradable skills against vicious gangs and evolving Freaker hordes. The environment itself is dynamic, affected by weather patterns, a day/night cycle, and Freakers who adapt to their surroundings. On PC, the experience is enhanced with ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates, and improved graphics, including increased level of detail, field of view, and foliage draw distances.
