Crashlands is an Action RPG developed by Butterscotch Shenanigans. Players assume the role of Flux Dabes, a space trucker stranded on the alien planet Woanope after a pirate attack. The core gameplay loop involves crafting items, battling hostile creatures, and completing quests to retrieve lost cargo and thwart an alien plot.
The game features over 500 craftable items, an infinite, self-managing inventory system, and skill-based combat augmented by craftable gadgets. Players can tame creatures to serve as combat companions. Crashlands also supports cross-platform play with its mobile versions, allowing for seamless progress synchronization. TIME Magazine recognized Crashlands as a Top 10 Game of 2016.
