CounterAttack: Uprising

CounterAttack: Uprising is a side-scrolling space shooter (shmup) developed by Relative Games. It offers deep ship customization, supporting 1-4 player local co-op and up to 8 player cross-platform online co-op. Players navigate a branching 32-level campaign against a robotic rebellion, with secret paths and four difficulty settings. Three endless survival modes provide additional challenges, including procedural wave survival.

The game boasts 8 unique pilots, each with distinct ultimate and innate abilities. Over 600 ship attachments allow for millions of weapon combinations, from offensive power-ups to defensive modules and support drones. A robust level and campaign editor, complete with Steam Workshop integration, enables players to create and share custom content playable in all co-op modes. This system allows players to unlock attachments through custom content, reducing reliance on grinding the main campaign.
