Circuits is a debut musical puzzle game from Digital Tentacle. Players must carefully listen to piece together the different parts of a song, completing each level through auditory precision. The core loop involves reconstructing one of 25 distinct songs, presenting a challenging and rewarding experience centered on understanding music creation.
The game's design employs minimal graphics to maintain player focus on the audio puzzle. Its soundtrack, composed by David García (known for Deadlight and Rime), blends electronic ambient, dubstep, and epic orchestra styles. A forthcoming free update, "Circuits Composer," will introduce an editor allowing players to create, save, and share their own songs via Steam Workshop, as well as load other users' music and share loop packages. This is a listening-focused puzzle experience.
