ChainStaff

ChainStaff is an action game from Mommy's Best Games. The player wields the ChainStaff, a transforming weapon controlled with a single button that functions as a spear, shield, and grappling hook. Players navigate surreal landscapes to combat alien-mutated creatures and make story-altering choices, such as whether to rescue or harvest stranded soldiers for upgrades. The game features a hand-drawn art style inspired by 70s and 80s album covers and a classic metal soundtrack by Deon van Heerden.
