Bloons TD 5 is the fifth installment in Ninja Kiwi's tower defense series. The game centers on strategic placement of defensive towers to prevent waves of balloons, known as Bloons, from reaching the end of a track. Players manage resources to build and upgrade towers, deploy special agents, and utilize activated abilities to counter increasingly difficult Bloon types, including tougher Camos, Regrow Bloons, and the ZOMG.

The title provides extensive content with over 90 tracks and 3 distinct game modes, including a Freeplay mode for post-mastery play. It features 21 unique towers, each with two upgrade paths and activated abilities, alongside 10 Special Agents. Bloons TD 5 supports online co-op play and includes over 250 random missions, daily challenges, and special events like Boss Bloons. A Monkey Lab system allows for further tower research and upgrades, enhancing the strategic depth.
