BioShock™ 2 Remastered is the second mainline entry in the BioShock series, casting players as a Big Daddy within the undersea city of Rapture. Engage in first-person shooter combat, utilizing both conventional weapons and Plasmids as you navigate the city's decaying beauty. Pursue an unseen foe responsible for snatching little girls and returning them to Rapture, seeking answers and striving for survival amidst the city's past sins.

The remaster upgrades its visual fidelity with high-resolution textures, models, and interface art, supporting 4K resolution. This release continues the compelling, award-winning storytelling within Rapture. The Protector Trials offer frantic combat challenges designed to test mastery of weapons and Plasmids. During these trials, players protect a Little Sister as she gathers ADAM from rich corpses, confronting waves of mounting opposition. Each trial provides three unique weapon and Plasmid load-outs, with a fourth bonus load-out available upon completing the initial three. This is a narrative-driven first-person shooter emphasizing combat and protection mechanics in a distinct underwater setting.
