Battleplan is a historical World War 2 real-time strategy game from Foolish Mortals Games Inc. The game simulates month-long battles involving hundreds of thousands of troops, with players issuing high-level orders that subordinate officers and units execute autonomously. Players can create elaborate, multi-step plans directly on the map, employing tactics like defense in depth and counterattacks.The game models armies realistically, down to the company level, with units like infantry, tanks, and artillery working together. Battlefields span thousands of kilometers, based on real-world geographic data, and logistics play a critical role, with supply lines and terrain affecting unit performance. Battleplan includes over 10 historical missions set on the Western Front from 1944 onward, allowing players to upgrade divisions, manage officers, and utilize air support.
