Backrooms Media is a 1-4 player co-op horror action-adventure game. Players navigate surreal, hyper-realistic liminal spaces across multiple levels, each presenting unique environmental hazards and puzzles like the Bunker, Dark Woods, and Pink Labyrinth. The game also includes distinct entities such as Bacteria, Smiler, and Kitty.

Players utilize specialized gadgets, including Radars, Decoys, Sensors, and the Stopping Shocker, to track and trap entities. Proximity voice chat is essential for cooperative gameplay, enabling communication for planning and survival.
