Assassin's Creed™: Director's Cut Edition

Assassin's Creed™: Director's Cut Edition marks the debut of Ubisoft Montreal's sandbox stealth action-adventure series, positioning players as an agent of change in the 12th-century Holy Land. Players assume the role of an Assassin, mastering a range of skills, tactics, and weapons. Actions involve planning attacks, striking targets without mercy, and fighting to escape. Eliminate targets wherever, whenever, and however desired, stalking prey through historically accurate, open-ended environments. Scale buildings, mount horses, and blend into crowds to achieve objectives, instigating chaos with each move.

This Director's Cut Edition incorporates four PC-exclusive investigation missions, including the Rooftop Race Challenge, a timed race to a specified location, and the Archer Stealth Assassination Challenge, which tasks the player with eliminating all archers in a zone. Environments are designed to be realistic and responsive, with crowds reacting to player actions, either assisting or impeding progress. Combat involves a wide range of medieval weapons and realistic swordfight duels, executed with fluid, precise animations. A proprietary engine underpins the game's open gameplay, intuitive control scheme, and dynamic interaction with the environment.
