About Alien: Isolation

Alien: Isolation delivers a standalone survival horror experience, set fifteen years after the events of the original Alien film. Players assume the role of Amanda Ripley, navigating an increasingly volatile world while on a mission to uncover the truth behind her mother's disappearance. Confronted by a panicked population and an unpredictable Alien, players must scavenge resources, improvise solutions, and employ their wits to survive an environment where they are underpowered and underprepared.

Persistent fear drives the gameplay as a dynamic and reactive Alien actively hunts the player, responding to every move. Players hack systems, scavenge vital resources, and craft items to address each situation, choosing to evade, distract, or directly confront threats. The detailed setting of Sevastopol, a decommissioned trading station, immerses players in a world scarred by fear and mistrust, rendered using the CATHODE™ engine. This is a desperate fight for survival against an apex predator.
