Afterlove EP is a slice-of-life adventure game from Pikselnesia, blending visual novel, narrative adventure, and rhythm game mechanics. Players guide musician Rama through a month of grief in modern Jakarta as he prepares for a crucial band gig. Gameplay involves side-scrolling exploration of the city, engaging in dialogue with characters, and participating in rhythm game sections. The game features manga-inspired art by Soyatu and an original soundtrack by L’Alphalpha.The narrative centers on Rama's struggle to cope with the death of his girlfriend, Cinta, and his efforts to reconnect with his music and relationships before his band moves on without him. Over twenty-eight in-game days, player choices shape Rama's path, influencing his personal growth and the band's future. Afterlove EP aims to provide an authentic portrayal of urban Indonesian life.
