Abandoned Cabins in the Woods is a 2D top-down survival horror game where players assume the role of paranormal investigator Thomas. Thomas ventures into the haunted Idaho woods to investigate paranormal activity, driven by requests from his fans. The gameplay involves exploring abandoned cabins, secret caves, and the spirit world to collect items and confront spirits and demons. The game provides approximately 30 minutes of paranormal investigation.Players will explore numerous cabins and the surrounding woods, searching for paranormal evidence. The core loop includes item collection, such as candles and keys, which are essential for progression and survival. Encounters with unrest souls and demons are central to the horror aspect, with players also able to explore the spirit world and dark secret caves. This title represents a debut for developer Anamik Majumdar.
