The Sims™ 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack expands The Sims™ 4 simulation gameplay by introducing the new world of Nordhaven, which includes the neighborhoods of Gammelvik and Iverstad. Sims can pursue new skills, including Tattooing and Pottery, allowing for creative expression and crafting. Sims can also establish and manage their own businesses, operating from their home or a dedicated Small Business Venue Lot.

The expansion implements a new Small Business system, enabling Sims to hire employees, set prices for goods or services, and cultivate a business reputation that unlocks unique perks based on Dreamer, Schemer, or Neutral routes. Beyond commerce, Sims can engage in new social activities such as attending Meetups, becoming Mentors, or hosting Classes and Lectures, with Lectures offering a path to Mastery Perks.
