Distant Worlds 2: Return of the Shakturi

Distant Worlds 2: Return of the Shakturi is the third expansion for the 4X space strategy game Distant Worlds 2. It introduces a full endgame crisis and narrative centered on the return of the Shakturi, an ancient alien faction. New gameplay mechanics include Genetic Engineering, Biowarfare, and Psychic Abilities, alongside new units such as Planet Destroyers and Mega Ships. The expansion also adds Outposts for territorial control and the Multi-Empire Alliance System for enhanced cooperation.
