Crusader Kings III: Legends of the Dead

Crusader Kings III: Legends of the Dead is a Core Expansion for the grand strategy RPG Crusader Kings III. This expansion introduces gameplay centered on building and leveraging a ruler's legendary reputation, allowing players to commission epic retellings of family history and spread tales of their deeds. New mechanics enable rulers to promote their legends, strengthening dynastic legitimacy and unlocking further choices. The expansion adds elite buildings, feasts enhanced with songs and odes, and court chroniclers to document accomplishments. Two new Legacies are included: Heroic, which allows heirs to use ancestral deeds for claims, and Legitimacy, promoting the dynasty as rightful rulers. Legends of the Dead also introduces new diseases, including the Black Death, and new Funeral rites.
