City Transport Simulator: Tram is an add-on for City Transport Simulator: Bus that allows players to drive detailed, real-world trams. Players can build and customize their own transport company by planning routes and expanding a network within a European-inspired city. The add-on includes a Line Editor and Timetable Generator for route creation, alongside Career and Sandbox modes.
In Career mode, players start as a small operator, managing resources, transporting passengers, and leveling up to unlock upgrades and expand their network. Sandbox mode offers freedom to create or select pre-made lines, drive any vehicle, and explore the city without restrictions. The simulation features precise physics, authentic sounds, and interactive cockpits, with support for various control inputs. Players can customize their operation's branding, station designs, and route details, with AI trams operating on player-created schedules. The city spans over 25km of routes inspired by southern Germany, incorporating a day/night cycle, dynamic passenger volumes, and licensed AI vehicles. City Transport Simulator: Tram can be played as a standalone experience or integrated with City Transport Simulator: Bus for a connected public transport network.
