Carcassonne - The River is a downloadable content expansion for the tile-placement strategy game Carcassonne. This add-on introduces 11 new tiles that replace the game's standard starting tile, creating a new initial landscape distribution. Players take turns placing these River tiles and deploying their meeples onto them, adhering to standard placement rules. Once the River tiles are depleted, gameplay continues with the base game's tiles.
